The Artist
Charity McArdle is an artist and teacher living in Scotland. Her training, in the early 1990's took her to Chelsea School of Art, Middlesex Polytechnic and Oxford University where her work could be described as conceptual painting.
Her current work focuses on more traditional forms such as landscapes and portraits. The balance of colour and gesture - the painterly elements- and representation is what currently occupies her thinking.
Charity works on commission as well as selling her original works. She has three beautiful children who are now doing a fair bit of adulting.
